HOW DOES YOUR DOG BECOME A BAHAMIAN CHAMPION?
                         OR WIN AN OBEDIENCE TITLE?

To become a Bahamian Champion,10 points must be earned. Challenge Certificates will
be awarded to the best dog and bitch in each individual breed, providing that the dog is of
Championship Quality. The Challenge Certificate is equivalent to 5 points. It is necessary
to win 2 Challenge Certificates to reach 10 points, and the dog must earn 10 points by
showing under 2 different judges. It will be possible for a dog to be placed 1st in its class
but not receive a Challenge Certificate - this decision will be made by the Judge. It is
possible to earn a Championship in one weekend if your dog is entered on both days.

An Obedience or Rally title is obtained by getting qualifying marks of 170 or more in 3
classes under 2 different judges. Dogs may enter Novice and Open on the same day.
However a qualifying score in Novice must be obtained. Post entries($15 per class) will be
accepted on Sunday.
